Terms and Conditions
By booking and participating in our sessions, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.
1. General Information
• Wildlings and Wonder operates as a partnership business in Perth, Western Australia, offering outdoor nature based sensory play sessions for children and their families.
• Participation in any session implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. Insurance and Public Liability
• Wildlings and Wonder maintains public liability insurance to cover incidents or injuries that may occur during sessions.
• This insurance does not extend to injuries resulting from negligence, failure to follow instructions, leaving your child unsupervised or disregard for safety guidelines provided by facilitators.
3. Parent and Guardian Responsibilities
• Parents or caregivers are required to supervise their children at all times during sessions. Wildlings and Wonder is not responsible for any child left unattended.
• It is essential that any medical conditions, allergies, or specific support needs are disclosed to the business in advance of participation.
• All activities are engaged in at the participant’s own risk. Wildlings and Wonder is not liable for injuries or accidents that occur during or as a result of participation.
4. Safety and Use of Equipment
• Equipment and materials are routinely checked and cleaned to ensure safety and hygiene.
• Activities are carefully planned to be age appropriate and low risk; however, as with all nature play, there are inherent risks which parents and caregivers accept by attending.
• Adults are encouraged to actively supervise and guide children in using materials safely.
5. Health, Illness, and Hygiene
• To maintain a safe environment, equipment is cleaned before and after each session.
• Children displaying symptoms of illness, including fever, vomiting, or contagious conditions, should not attend.
• The business reserves the right to refuse entry to any participant appearing unwell to protect the health of others.
6. Liability Waiver
• By taking part in any session, you agree to release and indemnify Wildlings and Wonder, its owner, employees, and contractors against any claims or liabilities arising from participation, except in cases of proven gross negligence.
• This includes, but is not limited to, injuries, property damage, or loss incurred during sessions.
7. Weather, Cancellations, and Refunds
• Sessions are held outdoors and will proceed unless weather conditions are deemed unsafe (e.g., storms, high winds, extreme heat).
• Wildlings and Wonder reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, participants will be notified as soon as possible and offered either a rescheduled date or a full refund.
• Cancellations initiated by participants, regardless of notice period, are not eligible for refunds, however sessions can be rescheduled prior to the commencement of the booked session to another session time. Non attendance will be treated as a forfeited booking if no communication has been made to reschedule.
8. Photography and Media Consent
• Photos and videos may be captured during sessions for promotional purposes on social media, the website, or other marketing materials. We are committed to protecting your child’s privacy and will never share images that clearly show children’s faces. Photo’s may include hands, backs of heads or wide shots where individuals are not identifiable.
• By attending, you consent to images and recordings being used unless you specifically request to opt out before the session begins.
• All photos and videos remain the intellectual property of Wildlings and Wonder and may be used at the discretion of the business.
9. Payment Terms
• All bookings must be paid in full at the time of reservation to confirm your place.
• Refunds are only provided in line with the cancellation policy above.
• Session fees may be adjusted from time to time, with advance notice provided to participants of any changes.
10. Compliance and Behaviour
• Wildlings and Wonder complies with all relevant legislation and regulations, including safety standards and child protection requirements.
• Parents, guardians, and children must follow all instructions, guidelines, and site rules, including those relating to environmental care, respectful behaviour, and proper use of equipment.
11. Resolving Concerns
• Any concerns or complaints about our services should be communicated in writing to the business owner. Every effort will be made to resolve issues promptly and respectfully.
• If an issue cannot be resolved through discussion, both parties agree to attempt mediation before considering further action.
12. Updates to Terms
• These terms and conditions may be updated or modified periodically. Any significant changes will be communicated in advance.
• Continuing to participate in sessions after updates implies acceptance of the revised terms.
